The Green sunfish is a member of the Sunfish family (Centrarchidae). This species is intolerant of low pH streams, but tolerant of many other types of stress. The lowest pH stream site in the basin where this sunfish was collected at was 7.1. The map below shows presence (green circles) of this species in the 1995-2019 MBSS dataset. |
