The Redbreast sunfish is a member of the Sunfish family (Centrarchidae). Often found with smallmouth bass and other "cool water" species, this sunfish has been found in water warmer than 100 F. The map below shows presence (green circles) of this species in the 1995-2019 MBSS dataset. |
