The Mummichog is a member of the Killifish
family (Fundulidae). Although freshwater populations exist, this is more commonly found in estuaries and is known to tolerate salinities up to 32 parts per thousand. The map below shows presence (green circles) of this species in the 1995-2019 MBSS dataset. |
