Eyes on the Bay: Don't Fish Below This Depth
Using the data collected by our Long-Term Monitoring Program, this map shows the maximum suggested fishing depth at each station, based on oxygen availability:
- Blue stars (
): Entire water column has oxygen levels suitable for Bay gamefish (> 3 mg/L). - Rainbow Gradient (Red to Purple): The stations are color-coded from Red (
) indicating a shallow fishable range, to Purple (
) indicating a large fishable range. The color indicates the suggested maximum fishing depth. - Use the 'Show Legend' menu to view the full color-code key and depth values.
- Use the 'Filter Stations' menu to toggle stations or map layers, such as the 'Tide Prediction' layer.
